Winemaker and oenologist Agustin Lanus worked at leading wineries around the world - Ceretto (Italy), Chateau Beychevelle (France), Rutini (Argentina), Bodega Burdigala (Spain), Quinta Do Malho Lurton (Portugal), and KWV (South Africa) - before following his passion for exploring extreme high-altitude terroirs to the remote Calchaqui Valley in his native Argentina.
Working at the edge of where wine grapes can be grown is an incredible challenge, but it results in grapes with thick, resilient skins rich in tannins and polyphenols - the ideal starting point for a passionate winemaker dedicated to creating wines with unique qualities in every bottle. -
Agustín Lanús Wines, a collaboration between longtime friends Agustín Lanús and international entrepreneur David Galland. Inspired by their shared passion for long-distance horseback riding in the Andes, they embarked on a journey to craft exquisite wines from the high-altitude terroirs of Cafayate, Argentina. Our winery was founded in 2014 and is headquartered in the picturesque town of Cafayate in the Salta province. Here, we meticulously produce a diverse portfolio of wines sourced from vineyards located at altitudes between 1,700 and 2,750 meters. At Agustín Lanús Wines, we are proud to offer the renowned wines of the Bad Brothers Facon Selection, carefully curated from the valley surrounding Cafayate to reflect the unique characteristics of the region.

Combined with the cool nights typical of the high-desert terroir, our vineyards benefit from a significant thermal amplitude, resulting in wines of extraordinary complexity and balance.
